In a surprising partnership that challenges conventional forecasts, the game developer has announced an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing free additional story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Mission Uncovered

According to the formal statement, "A mysterious encounter pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where whispers of banned rituals and terrifying metamorphoses echo through the obscurity." The narrative introduces a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who charges the duo with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a hidden cult.

The mission concentrates on "peculiar trials and a terrifying adversary" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Metamorphoses

The preview showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer ends with a dramatic sequence showing a character, likely the hostage, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Additional Features

Players who finish the mission will obtain an unique katana alongside multiple items hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
